Hello! While setting up Windows on my new PC, I experienced random freezes of both the mouse and keyboard. These issues often appeared when pressing keys quickly or holding them down, especially during character input. After completing the Windows and driver installations, the problem lessened but became more frequent. Now it happens more often, affecting both devices. I’m currently using a Razer Abyssus without Synapse 2.0, but tried installing it today to check for fixes. It seemed like a driver-related issue at first, though it worsened after installation and completely froze the mouse. After removing the software, things improved slightly, but it remains bothersome. My new mouse is older, so I switched to a Razer Basilisk V2 that uses Synapse 3.0. It still faces similar problems—random disconnections, keyboard input issues, and occasional keystuck behavior. The keyboard model is ROG Strix Flare, and I’ve read that my motherboard and CPU combination might be contributing. I’m considering updating the BIOS to see if that resolves the issue. Should I focus on the latest version or target a specific fix? Thanks in advance for your advice!

It's best to use the most recent non-Beta BIOS version and flash it to confirm USB disconnection problems are resolved. Some users report lingering issues even after updating, so checking for the latest chipset drivers can help.

Great choice! Opting for the newest non-beta BIOS version is ideal. USB port selection doesn't affect the EZ Flash process. Thank you!

Hi! Here’s a revised version of your message:

Hello! I just wanted to share that I updated the BIOS and the chipset drivers. It was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but everything seems to be functioning properly now. Thank you so much for your assistance!
