I have an Asrock Z97 Extreme 3 motherboard and I placed the disk inside. After exploring the folders I clicked on Lan, I found Intel and REALTEK listed. I checked the motherboard manual and it mentioned an Intel section. I opened a file labeled (v19.0C00042_PV) and saw several files pop up. I’m unsure which one to select—I think I should click an EXE file but am not sure if I should start with Realtek during installation.
Open Device Manager, select the LAN adapter, click right, choose Update driver, then Browser my computer, locate the driver folder and finish.
It's the REALtek issue. There are two folders with distinct numbers—(8025) contains setup.exe and (7086) does not. Which one should I pick?
You attempted the Intel driver installation and checked Realtek drivers. Did you also look through the Realtek folder options?
