I used my PC yesterday night without issues. Today I started it up and encountered a communication error with a connected device—error code 0xc00000e9. Initially, I tried reconnecting the main storage drive, but that didn’t help. Then I attempted to reconnect the RAM, yet the monitors remained unresponsive. I’m leaning toward the motherboard as the likely source, but it would be helpful to pinpoint the exact issue so I can replace the right part. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Updates: Fixed the monitor output problem myself, though I still face the communication error.

Hardware: ASRock Z170 (model uncertain), Crucial 1TB SSD, Intel i7-6700K Zotac 1070, 1000W PSU, EVGA Corsair Vengeance 16GB RAM (2300MHz).

No output required, not even bios.

Thanks, I figured it out. The communication issue remains.

It seems there are several possibilities, mainly concerning your SSD or HDD. For more detailed guidance, I recommend checking the link provided: https://theitbros.com/how-to-fix-the-error-0xc00000e9/. It offers thorough instructions on troubleshooting and fixing the issue. Keep in mind that while these steps can help, they don’t guarantee a successful repair—there’s a chance you might need to replace the drive entirely.
