I encountered an unusual issue with one of my friends' PC. He recently got a new GPU, the RTX 5070, and now his games are lagging. His CPU usage has increased significantly—what used to run at 30-40% is now at 50-70%. I suspect the extra CPU load might be due to updated game settings after installing new GPU drivers. His PC uses an RTX 5070, a Ryzen 3600 CPU, Corsair 800W Gold power supply, and has 32GB RAM on an ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming motherboard.

Due to the file being obtained via NVIDIA's application.

ask him to run DDU (display driver uninstaller) to completely delete all GPU drivers, then have him reinstall the drivers for the 5070.
