I've been tweaking OBS settings since getting the new 5820k, especially with games being a bit unstable. What adjustments do you think would help with your specs? CPU 5820k, GPU 780Ti, 5MBps upload, and 16GB RAM.

AlwaysFSX handles OBS details, that's why I'm mentioning him. However, I recommend trying QuickSync or ShadowPlay as alternatives.

For 5 up I’d choose 3500kbs and either 720 or 900p resolution. On the CPU side, I’d keep it to faster or fast settings.

Encoding method uses x264 with CBR, max bitrate set to 3500 kbps. Audio is AAC at 160 kbps. Resolution can be reduced to 1080p at 30 fps or 720p at 60 fps for better performance. The default setting prioritizes safety; you may try the CPU preset "Faster" if needed. Verify your upload speed—if it doesn't match the advertised 5M, consider lowering max bitrate to 2500 and audio bitrate to 96 kbps.
