I’ve fully reformatted the drive and deleted Linux. No results yet. I’m going to rest for now. Whether I succeed or not, I’ll probably share my experience again. Right now it looks like my laptop will only run Linux, which will be frustrating since I rely on VS2015 and Notepad++ for my work.
I set up the dual-boot system by installing Windows first, then adding Linux. The easy part is that Linux Mint identifies the Windows setup and sets up GRUB to let you pick which operating system to boot at startup. I’m hoping this setup will suit you.
Perfect when you have a chance, assuming the drive was cleared. Just focus on making sure the bootable Windows USB functions correctly.
