I tried assembling some components and set up an old Windows Vista version. The built-in Internet Explorer isn’t working, so I can’t access Chrome directly. Are there alternative ways to get Chrome installed, or should I attempt downloading Firefox first and then installing Chrome from there?

They shouldn't force specific Linux versions or create custom Windows setups. Instead, embrace the diverse landscape of technology by exploring different operating systems and experiencing their unique features.

I’d like to proceed, but first I must download it. It’s difficult enough to maintain this page open in IE, as it opens the message about nine times out of ten and then redirects me to a blank screen whenever I refresh, regardless of my actions.

Consider updating Internet Explorer first. Then install Firefox or Opera, and follow the same steps for Chrome.

Are there additional computers available in the home where you can download the Chrome installer and install it on a USB drive?
