Hello, I just assembled my PC (Ryzen 5 4500, ASRock b450m-HDV r4.0 board, GTX 1050 ti). When trying to reach the BIOS, pressing the delete key repeatedly doesn’t work. I’ve also swapped the HDMI cable from the motherboard to the GPU, but the issue persists. My keyboard won’t power on either. I’m unsure what’s causing this. Thank you in advance. Edit: It might be a mispressed button—only the caps and WIN lights up.

The processor may need a BIOS upgrade for the motherboard. B450 models were modified to work with Zen2 3xxx CPUs. Chips from Zen2+ APU/APU and newer Zen3 CPUs aren't fully compatible out of the box.

Before starting, the screen typically shows the ASRock logo or a similar brand indicator. Otherwise, it stays blank until the process begins.

Indicates temporary lack of HDMI connection for brief periods, followed by entering standby state with only Dell brand logos visible.

I noticed something, but I’m unsure about updating it. No other CPUs are available and there’s no BIOS recovery option visible.

Ensure your processor is compatible with the board you’re using. Check the compatibility page for support across all BIOS updates. Consider visiting a nearby PC repair shop or asking local stores if they can update the BIOS for you. If you purchased both the motherboard and CPU, you may be able to borrow a temporary CPU from AMD within their warranty period.
