I built my PC and it doesn’t boot with the SSD. Is this related to the socket change? I switched from LGA 2011 to 1151 and still face the CPU fan error, even though all fans are working. How can I get it to boot properly?

Verify the CPU fan is attached to the proper connector. It needs a labeled port. Are you transferring the SSD from an older setup with a Windows installation?

It had windows installed, though whether that counts as old depends on your perspective. I used it today on my older computer.

I don't see the drive listed in the BIOS. Please check your system settings or provide more details.

use a windows installation USB or disk. the device might have to be reformatted as a bootable media.

Disable secure boot and switch the boot mode from its current setting to the alternative one.

In your system you might need to lower the low RPM warning for CPU fans if you're using PWM fans. I experienced this with my Asus motherboard—adjusting the warning to 200 helped because the fans weren't spinning fast enough during startup, causing the warning. In truth, cooling was fine, but it displayed a distracting splash screen saying "CPU fan error!"

Try switching to Legacy mode instead of UEFI and observe the results. Also check whether you utilized the CPU header. If not, consider adjusting a fan or disabling its monitoring.

The CPU header is being utilized by your AIO, but you're not sure if your pump is functioning properly.
