It wasn’t a major issue, but I was looking for a better modem anyway. When I contacted my ISP to turn on the modem, nothing changed. I keep seeing ping spikes during games, and neighbors complain about buffering and slow connections. I reset the router, updated the firmware, and even cleared wireless interference, but nothing fixed it. I checked cables, bandwidth usage on connected devices, and even called the ISP for updates or outages. Any advice would mean a lot since my connection was so dependable before.
