Recently my PC experienced problems when launching games. It would start for a short time or a minute, then the PSU clicked and the CPU would stop while the RAM stayed lit. I changed the CPU and motherboard but it didn’t help. I’m using an ASUS 5800X3D H150i with an X570S Aorus Elite 3070, 3TB M.2 SSDs (32GB), Trident Z Neo 16x2 at 3600MHz, and an Asus ROG Gold PSU. Everything is set and not overclocked. I’m wondering if there’s a way to diagnose the issue.

Did you connect the standard wires provided with the power supply, or did you add adapters like an extension cord or a GPU stand?

I'm really close to giving up, since all my changes—three CPUs, two motherboards, four RAM kits, and two PSUs—still don't fix the issue. It feels like something is fundamentally wrong, no matter which operating system I try.

Did you think about whether the issue could stem from your power strip, surge protector, or wall outlet? Or perhaps the GPU?

I've used two GPUs and now I'm not sure about the default power outlets. Probably not the main reason at all.

Consider checking if there’s a brief or excessive current issue, or if the PSU is malfunctioning and triggering safety mode without cause.

The problem might lie with your home's electrical system. Consider testing it in another location.

I'll attempt to return it and purchase a replacement model.
