this is an update to my post before since i forgot to read the format i bought an amd fx 6100 with a gtx 750 ti palit system ( the power supply is i believe a vs450W ), I'm using windows 10 pro free version. I had some problems since i looked at some videos on youtube and I'm pretty sure my gpu should run at least a little better, does anyone know what the problem is ( and as I said in my post before, the gpu rarely goes above 12W and almost never is at/above 60% usage in games like gta v )

I've identified the problem. Your GPU isn't causing any issues. The old Bulldozer CPU is handling things as expected, which is its main function—though not ideal. It seems AMD's FX period was particularly challenging.

I realize at least some things, so essentially abandon the AM3+ setup and switch to AM4, which sounds reasonable but comes with a higher cost.

Sure, it's a premium investment, but it pays off. AMD's FX CPUs were really the worst they've produced, which is why Ryzen is celebrated as their top choice—it revived the brand after a long struggle. They've surpassed any previous models in performance. I have to admit, it's frustrating when you're stuck dealing with outdated hardware, but now you're more informed and ready to spend on something better instead of wasting time and money on fixes that won't work.
