I haven’t played Star Citizen yet, but I’m open to trying it for the competition. Is it really worthwhile? I don’t have any experience with it. If you’re new, do you have any advice for someone just starting out?

It's not much of a concern, I'm more thrilled about the cosmos.

The project is quite unstable and shouldn't be purchased just to enter contests. Acquire the game only if you genuinely wish to back Star Citizen's development or have a personal interest in it. It remains under active development with a launch expected between late 2015 and mid-2016, though dates could shift further. Currently, it's still in pre-alpha, featuring just two modules—Hanger Module and Arena Commander. The First Person Shooter is planned for release later this year, but no exact date has been announced yet, with the current timeline in early 2014. Be aware of what you're committing to if you decide to purchase it.

All information is accurate and worth thinking about before purchasing, but honestly, the options they currently offer are quite enjoyable and improving steadily.

It's not overly problematic except during updates, where occasional issues appear that typically get fixed within a week. If you're okay with spending around $50, keep in mind the value you receive compared to similar options. I was able to secure a better deal previously.

It’s a solid choice. You’ll enjoy two titles—Star Citizen and Squadron 42—both highly recommended.
