You're just starting out with PC building and are seeking advice from someone who helped you choose components. Your current setup includes an i5 9400F with an RTX 2060 Super and a 32GB RAM module. You're using it for 1440P at 90-110 FPS in COD, which is a solid performance for the hardware you have. Since you're not overclocking and haven't upgraded yet, it's worth considering whether the CPU is limiting your experience. Upgrading might be a good idea if you want higher frame rates or smoother gameplay, but it depends on your budget and goals. A second opinion would be helpful to weigh the benefits against the cost.

It seems you're asking about a specific issue, but the details are missing. Could you clarify what you're referring to?

The problem isn't the main concern, people don't allow friends to purchase Intel.

Friends should support those with financial means while discouraging friends from purchasing Intel products.

The 9400f should function adequately. The duration it performs tasks depends on other factors now. It wasn’t necessarily the cheapest option in the long run, but that’s not our concern at the moment. It seems the CPU might be more efficient than the GPU for your needs. We’ll find out in 2021. The situation could shift, and all 3300x users might face similar issues. I think the board will likely be replaced, possibly with a 9900k or even an 8700k. A 9900k is probably the next step, though.

Thank you for the feedback. I’m open to more perspectives. I allocated $1500 with room to adjust if necessary, just aiming for good value.

I come from outside the US and think certain components in America are more affordable. That’s why I expected higher quality for a $1500 price point. I didn’t mean to imply it was poor, just that the specs weren’t what I’d hoped for. 16 GB of RAM would have sufficed and the water cooling system seemed unnecessary for the CPU. A stronger processor would have been preferable, especially if it ran at a slightly higher overclock. Still, it’s not a major issue since six cores are adequate.

I understand your point. The liquid cooler setting is really impressive. I’m just curious about a different CPU option.
