It seems there are several versions of this board, and you probably can't tell exactly which one. The best way to confirm is by checking with the manufacturer using your serial number. Generally, you'll need a BIOS upgrade, which can be achieved by reinstalling your old processor and then reinserting the 3600. Typically, you download the BIOS update from the manufacturer's site onto a USB drive, transfer it to the 3600, and then restart. On startup, access BIOS (often via F2 or DEL before boot) and look for an option to update via USB. If you're really struggling, consider getting a newer board—especially a B550 chipset with solid VRM cooling. This setup can be refreshed in a few years without purchasing a completely new board.
