I believe I cooked my Ram.
I believe I cooked my Ram.
I attempted to overclock my RAM, but the process didn't work as expected. After successfully overclocking the CPU, everything functioned normally, yet when I tried to overclock the RAM the system would stop responding. The components included an Athlon200ge CPU, HyperX 2x4GB 3200Mhz RAM, Asus A320M-K motherboard, Sapphire RX580 8GB GPU, and a Corsair VS650W power supply. I'm aware my setup is quite limited, so I was considering a CPU upgrade.
When you install RAM, you'll likely need to reset the BIOS every few starts. Adjusting the timing settings might be necessary. The battery should stay out for over 30 seconds, or the two pins should be shorted for more than 10 seconds. This is just how it works.
