i tried to see if i can live with some of the annoyances of win10 got everything installed its not bad but when it comes to installing custom unofficial (they should become official even if they are XXX nsfw themes) it will result in a win10 that i can not live with, (u loost the ability too see thumbnails and icons when in large image view) and i will not run windows without my themes and real (not the fake customization microsoft providesand claims) customizations like custom themes that change the way start looks like in the link below so i will never relieve my windows 7 OS until microsoft makes a feature that will allow these custom themes come on microsoft allow these things without it resulting it being broken when u release a freakin update thanks for making it immpossible for me to accept this change and theres atleast 50,000 users who still use win7 because of this B.S https://www.enjiriz-pc.com/2018/12/rezer...uardi.html the image is an example of what win10 looks like when a custom theme is enabled if some one can find i fix for me i will try again to become a win10 user

Wait for the third-party customizations to be finalized, probably. Linux is always a viable choice.

I miss the Aero Glass as well... there is a tool to enable it again. But it is tinkering with the explorer. it may even make the system unstable. And for every new release upgrade patch you will need to wait for a new compatible version. Right now I just use the internal theme customizing.

Having aero would be great too, but I don’t mind losing it. It’s the thumbnail previews and folder background that I can’t stand losing, especially since Microsoft keeps ignoring those stuck on Windows 7 because of this issue.

This appears to be a personal concern rather than an OS-related problem. It's not the fault of Microsoft if your third-party themes are poor.

Microsoft should prioritize enhancing Win 10 and ensure a more consistent design across its products.

I really don’t like Aero Glass. It wasn’t appealing when I first saw it, and now it’s not my preference either.

It seems you're questioning whether your maturity as a 40-year-old influences your tech habits, especially when dealing with unsupported themes and third-party apps. Are you wondering if custom icons are essential for a computer to work properly?
