See the discussion thread and the product page mentioned. It's compatible with Ryzen, though the 4.31 version appears in your motherboard memory QVL for your CPU. The issue might be related to XMP on RAM or testing one stick at a time.
The QVL indicates it should operate at the rated speed, but I haven't found Corsair Vengeance stable well above SPD timings on Ryzen systems. I'm considering setting the RAM to "auto" for all RAM-related settings to check for improvement.
connect one RAM stick into the appropriate slot your motherboard allows. power on, the BIOS will automatically detect non-QVL RAM. turn off, then install the second stick. it’s straightforward, and most manuals confirm the same advice.
