I am preparing to design a fresh PC configuration.
In December 2023 this forum assisted me in enhancing my existing setup, originally installed in 2017, to prolong its functionality. I’m aiming to refresh it now and haven’t kept pace with hardware advancements. The primary bottleneck remains the heavy use of Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and related software. I recently replaced my GPU with the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 Eagle OC and plan to integrate it into the new configuration. I favor AMD processors and have been satisfied with the Gigabyte MB performance. I anticipate supporting up to 64 GB of RAM in a modern system. I still have two high-quality monitors that I intend to retain. My preference is for mid-tower models. I’m aware that current systems are relying more on smaller SSDs.
What build resources do you suggest? I have an unused Windows 11 flash drive that I haven’t utilized during the 2023 upgrade, so I can repurpose it.
Screenshot from Speccy of my current system for reference. I realize I’m still quite behind despite recent improvements.
Thanks

Please list the specs to your build like so: CPU: CPU cooler: Motherboard: Ram: SSD/HDD: GPU: PSU: Chassis: OS: Monitor: include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time. Unless your PSU is hooked up via the USB port, there's no app that will tell you the make and model or age of the PSU, hence the manual info.

Your performance isn't terrible with this setup, but what's the problem?
No one offered any advice on building a good photo editing setup.
Current specs include an AMD Ryzen 9 7900 processor, a Noctua NH-D15 cooler, Gigabyte B650 motherboard, Corsair Vengeance RAM, a 4TB SSD, a Gigabyte RTX 5060 graphics card, a Seasonic PSU, and a Zalman Z3 chassis.
Is this solely for photo editing purposes, and are you constructing a fresh PC rather than enhancing an existing one? Are there any other tasks underway on the machine? Do you have a financial plan in place?
