Hey there! I noticed some inconsistent results from my research, so I'm reaching out for your advice. My current configuration includes a Ryzen 3200G processor, Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard, Gigabyte Fury 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4 2666MHz CL16 GPU. I'm planning to enable dual-channel memory and am considering adding another RAM stick with the same specs. I want to confirm if this will automatically support dual-channel operation since some sources say it comes in paired kits. Could you clarify what dual-channel behavior looks like for my setup? Also, thanks for the screenshot of the CPU-Z SPD—helpful!

right now you're running single channel, and dual rank so adding another similar stick (1 slot apart if 4 slot board, side by side if 2 slot board) will make it run in dual channel dual ranks there's a small chance the RAM wont work together since they dont come in a kit, but it'll mostly work if buy the same model and specs.

Alrighty, so there is really a very small chance that it will not work as dual channel. Much appreciated!

Highly improbable given the conditions—especially when both components share identical specs like frequency, latency, and model.

Extremely unlikely that there will be an issue?
