Hyper-V Kali Linux lacks keyboard input to access the encryption password for the boot drive.
Hi, I installed the complete and full Kali Linux version on a Windows 11 Pro Hyper-V VM with 4GB RAM and 3 CPUs, boot drive encrypted. After rebooting, it prompts for the boot drive encryption password, but I can't type anything or use the keyboard or mouse at all. The system refuses to respond even after editing the boot grub to switch to a standard Linux boot style. My USB keyboard isn’t working and the mouse is also unresponsive. I’m stuck without being able to enter my encryption password. Please help me fix this.
I haven't found a fix for this in the past lasting over two hours, so I think it might be related to compatibility with Hyper-V and LVM/Encryption. I reinstalled Kali Linux without LVM and encryption, rebooted the guided partition once, and it now works perfectly—100% solution is avoiding LVM encryption.
