First, clarify your goal: are you setting up a local VPN to connect to your Hyper-V server remotely, or are you trying to use a public VPN service and then connect locally? If the latter, ensure no firewall blocks all local traffic, as that would prevent proper routing. If the former, verify connectivity from your PC to the Hyper-V server without a VPN on the same network. If access remains blocked, check your local firewall settings and confirm the Hyper-V server is properly configured for remote connections. I'm not an expert in Hyper-V, but this should help.

I'm using the second choice, Express VPN. When I disable it, I lose connection to Hyper V, and turning it back on causes a disconnection. It seems I'm connected via a private network through the VPN, which is unusual for an external setup.
