I chose to explore VR options and am considering the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. The Vive costs a bit more, but it offers certain advantages. Let me know if you'd like a detailed comparison of their features and benefits.

Oculus offers superior controllers and lenses. Most other features are comparable. HTC Vive provides more accurate full-scale room tracking using just the two built-in sensors, while Oculus requires a third sensor purchased separately for that capability. You can still achieve full-scale tracking with two sensors, though it’s less precise.

I don't care about the rift s since it's 80hz. The Oculus Quest 2 costs more than a used Vive. Welcome to Europe ig

Yes, you can use your existing Oculus account with the Rift without creating a Facebook account.

According to what I understand, you only need an FB account for the Quest 2. I own an Oculus Rift and use my Oculus account; I don’t have an FB account either. It seems that by 2023 you’ll likely be required to create an FB account.
