Before I mention anything else, I don't have a Vive. But I'm curious about getting one and have looked into some details. Improving the signal isn't thought to be the main issue. The bigger problem would be the delay between your head movement and the screen updating. This can make you more aware of wearing a headset and might cause discomfort.

Hmm, something I hadn't even thought about! Thats a very good point, latency is something that would ruin the vr expirience. Do you think that higher quality HDMI/USB cables (I know those are two different types of cables, but in general) will have lower latency? If so do you advise spending more on more expensive higher grade cabling to help keep latency down? Also, thanks for the reply Very helpful information!
