Most non-Chinese X56 MB drives are Triple Channel, but in the HPZ400 it seems to be just that. I have a 6-slot MB drive with 6x4GB, 24GB RAM at 1333MHz. I'm curious—would having only 2x4GB change the performance?

nvm i think i figured it out. it dose run triple channel with 3 stick of ram and duel channel with 2 (or single if configured wrong) so i guess the question now is 12gb for tripple channel or 8gb in duel channel for gaming? the reason is i got a good deal and 2 hpz400 for $150 each with 24gb ram each and buying ram is costly so if i pull some ram out and use that in other builds could save me money. i no i can sell it as is for $200 and make $50 profit but maybe i could make a bit more after all it is a "budget" gaming pc...
