HP X2 210 G1 built-in card reader issues on Ubuntu 16.10.
Hello. I recently got my new laptop and it was listed under a topic name. I'm attempting to install Ubuntu onto a micro SD card for dual boot with Windows, but when using GParted to modify partitions, the card isn't visible. It functions properly on Windows, but the freshly built Ubuntu doesn't start correctly. In Windows, three Intel SD host controllers appear, and the dmesg output and lsusb/lspci files show details about the hardware. The Windows hardware manager lists the device as ACPI version 0F14 with a specific revision. Could someone clarify what's going on? Appreciate your assistance!
Have you attempted another tool such as fdisk or parted, or tried a different distribution (like Debian or Fedora)?
