I owned an old HP Pavilion A250N around 2003. After cleaning it, the plastic on the CPU cooler cracked and the motherboard bracket fell off. I fixed it back in place, but when I powered it on it beeped four times, then shut down. Since I don’t have the manual, I couldn’t check the error codes, but according to HP’s site, that indicates a flashing failure. I’ve been trying to fix it for about a day now.
