She relies on her HP machine for work and she wants improvements. The first step was upgrading the RAM to 16GB with 3200MHz speed since it was using most of its capacity. I considered adding an SSD but faced limitations due to the chassis and power supply. I wondered if a new CPU would be feasible given the hardware constraints, and whether it's possible to upgrade the power supply. It seems many options are proprietary, so I’m looking for practical steps that fit within the existing setup.

Consider reviewing the task manager for unnecessary startup programs. An SSD will significantly improve performance. The motherboard is compatible with second generation CPUs, but the 2200G uses Zen instead of Zen +, so it may not be a true upgrade. You might want more cores—1600 or 1700 would be ideal (your current specs aren’t listed). A 300-watt power supply works well. Running an 8-core Ryzen processor with a mid-range graphics card can deliver strong results. Please share your current specifications.

I checked and didn’t find any large leeches, though I should have searched more. It currently holds 2200g—what would you suggest as a replacement? You might still need internal graphics.
