Long time observer, first time joining the chat. Appreciate any assistance you can provide. I haven’t found many resources online, so I thought I’d share some insights with the experienced folks. My setup includes a GeForce 1060 i7-7700 with a 2800/450W PSU and Corsair Dominator 8x2 DDR4. I’m considering replacing the motherboard to something more powerful that allows overclocking and BIOS access. The current market for 200-series boards isn’t straightforward, and I’m feeling uncertain. I’d prefer to stick with existing components if possible. I also have a GeForce 1080ti coming soon from a friend, which might help later. Any tips on reliable places to buy without scams would be helpful. Thanks! This CPU is secured and can't be overclocked. If it's overheating, there must be another issue. What are your temperatures for the 7700? Also, a 1080ti won't fit in a 450w power supply—you'll need a better one.
