You recently received an HP laptop equipped with an Elan trackpad, and it automatically enables pinch-to-zoom. This often causes you to zoom in excessively when you're unsure. I searched for solutions but encountered difficulties. Guides suggested checking mouse settings, but there aren't any available for this issue. When I installed the ETD Properties app from the Windows Store as recommended, it didn’t resolve the problem. I can view my driver version, but no option appears to disable pinch-to-zoom within the device settings. I also tried using the IC2 driver in Device Manager, which shows up as an I2C HID Device but fails to connect properly. I downloaded the newest drivers from HP, yet nothing worked. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
