HP laptop is empty after switching from HDD to SSD.
My G8 HP i3-10th gen is not booting after switching from HDD to SSD. I suspect the BIOS issue but haven’t managed to restore it through the HDD or USB yet. It powers on and off repeatedly, staying blank. I’ve tried a hard reset, which works with the old HDD, but shutting it down or restarting doesn’t bring it back. The BIOS isn’t recognized on the SSD anymore. Help needed!
The BIOS isn't connected to any storage you can easily access. Did you copy your hard drive to an SSD instead? That doesn’t seem right.
I attempted to download them from the HP website and recover them using a USB, but it hasn't worked.
I didn't grasp what you meant. Swapping HDD for an SSD doesn't need a BIOS update. I checked if you copied your operating system to the new drive.
I wasn't planning to reinstall Windows from scratch. I took out the SSD and restored everything to the original setup, but now it won't start. It stays blank even though the fan is running and all components are active. When I press Win+B, the attached message appears.
