Hi! Your Envy x360 is a 15.6 HP model, and you’ve had the hinge issue recently. You got a replacement part today but are stuck after hours trying to remove the screen without damaging it. One inch from the top, both sides of the screen are stuck together. It looks like a metal component is fastened to a plastic piece that was attached to the metal, and then another plastic piece clamps it at the very top. It seems seamless. You mentioned you can’t find similar cases online—anyone with experience on this laptop or something like this would be really helpful.

Just before sharing this, I relinked everything and made sure the device was turned on with no issues. So far, nothing serious has occurred.

Suggest checking a repair video or article. There are various generations of HP Envy x360, and small variations might exist when removing the screen. Accurate steps are essential.

I never considered different languages to try. The sections I've seen don't reveal any metal on either side, and fixing it wouldn't include a screen component.

You might want to include additional images or a video. A more detailed explanation could assist in locating the solution on your own.
