I've been researching the Tampa 2 motherboard for a while but couldn't find any details. Now I'm considering asking about adding non-official Intel Core processors. This is for my gaming PC setup: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7-8700, ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti OC Edition with 16GB GDDR6 memory, Kingston Fury Renegade Black 32GB, HP HLDS DVDRW optical drive, KXG50ZNV256G SSDs, and a Samsung 870 EVO 1TB. I'm using a TOSHIBA SATA SSD (238GB) and Seagate ST1000DM003-1SB102 (931GB). The motherboard has Realtek audio and a built-in internet card. The power supply is a Chieftec A-80 series CTG-750C, and the system runs on Windows 11 Pro.

If a CPU isn't available, you might attempt it, though it's not reliable. Unless you already have one, purchasing an HP model isn't better than standard consumer options. Which CPU are you considering? The i7-8700 works fine. A stronger GPU also demands more cooling, which is a limitation here.

System requirements are quite strict for HP compatibility. Most devices won’t function unless they match a recognized "supported processor." Certain models may appear to work due to minor naming differences, such as G5905 reporting as G5900 or 10105/F showing up as 10100.
