I own a 1950X in an Asus X399-A prime with 3600mhz RAM Hynix CJR. I’m not too concerned about the memory, but I’m a bit puzzled about how to do the manual overclocking properly. Previously, I’ve worked with Intel Gen 9 and 8, as well as Zen 4 and 5 systems. The first thing I noticed is that the tCTL offset is huge, so boosting won’t work and voltages can’t exceed 1.05V. What advice do you have? It’s pretty outdated stuff. I’m thinking of selling it to a friend and convincing him to try an old AC subzero just for fun—no pressure, right? But I’d like some guidance on the general process. YouTube isn’t very helpful, and forum discussions usually involve people who already know what they’re doing. Cheers!
