I recently purchased an RX 550 4GB GPU and, as usual, did not install the AMD software. Instead, I only installed the drivers since I don’t really need the software. To enhance gaming performance, I need to disable FreeSync. How can I do this? Is FreeSync currently active? My monitor also doesn’t support FreeSync.

Update your post with complete hardware details and operating system information.
PSU specifications: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original, build, refurbished, used).
Disk drive(s): brand, model, capacity, current usage percentage.
Connected peripherals: monitor(s)? Any other devices?
Network status: wired or wireless?
Reference: Game performance tips – what impact does disabling FreeSync have?
Source: Check Task Manager as Administrator and verify FreeSync status; consider disabling it via Startup or Task Scheduler.
Note: Look for indicators like upward or downward arrows in the column headers to sort and locate FreeSync entries.

I turned off FreeSync since I discovered on Google it might stop stuttering in Euro Truck Simulator2. It seems only one truck is responsible for the issue. I didn’t see FreeSync in Task Manager; I’m connected to a wireless network and using Windows 11 25H2 with a WD SSD. My hardware includes an FX6300 CPU, Asus M5A78L-M LX V2 motherboard, 16GB DDR3 RAM, RX 550 4GB GPU, three HDDs plus two SSDs, and a Gamemax GP 650 power supply.

It seems like that truck might have faulty (poorly optimized) code, otherwise the problem would affect the entire game.
