If I were you, I’d take many foods and consume them during fights. This would let you use the food as a resource for health. When a guard tries to stop you and take you to a prison, they can’t reclaim the food. So you wouldn’t lose anything.

If you want to make screenshots use these commands. ~ = opens console command tfc 1 = freezes time and lets you use free camera to go around tm = hides UI (DANGEROUS BECAUSE LITERALLY HIDES EVERYTHING. HUD AND UI) Then after that you can press the printscreen button instead of the f12. The reason is because the f12 (steam screenshot) doesn't provide a high quality screenshot. After that, when you're done taking screenshots. You can press the command "tm" once again to unhide the UI. Then to unfreeze time and let yourself use your character once again press the command "tfc" without any numbers. There ya go However, do it at your own risk. I won't recommend @ThinkWithPortals to use it but the others... I guess they can use it since they have more experience. Big Grin)

Choose a clear playstyle from the start—become an assassin using daggers and move stealthily in light armor, or become an unstoppable tank wielding a mace and shield while wearing heavy armor. After deciding your approach, follow the main story until you reach High Hrothgar, then explore the world freely as you wish. Most monsters grow stronger with your level, so you won’t face constant danger. Save frequently (default F5) because the game doesn’t save automatically well; good luck and enjoy—it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played!

Here’s what I’ve understood about playing a mage: even with enchanted armor, reaching certain levels feels like climbing a steep hill where progress becomes nearly unachievable. By that point, it seems wise to consider upgrading to a weapon—sword, mace, or something similar—to maintain balance. I’m wondering if there’s been a misstep in my approach so far. My suggestion is to avoid getting too caught up in any single questline. Later rewards actually increase with your level, so investing early in gear or loot can pay off later. Also, take your time exploring the world, visiting key locations, and dealing with bandits. Seek out valuable items like Valdr’s Lucky Dagger or Daedric relics. Enjoy the scenery and don’t rush into intense quests—sometimes the best moments come from slow, thoughtful play.
