After the most recent Windows update, I encounter this error after restarting.
Access Violation at address 04C56268 in module BIOSFLK.DLL. Read of address 00000008.
According to Google search results from 2018 onward, this issue has persisted for several years. It appears this is the second time a Windows update has rendered AI Suite 3 non-functional.
This is the original version of AI Suite 3 installed in 2017 when I first set up this PC. Now it serves as my backup system and hasn’t been overhauled. I’m considering ending its use. I’ve read instructions to use a cleaner tool post-uninstallation, but I can’t locate it anywhere. There’s no download available on the Asus website for an update. They seem to prefer keeping things hidden. Is relying on the standard uninstall method sufficient?

You might want to consider using CCleaner 64bit.
It helps remove installed programs and refreshes the registry.

Was das wirklich alles Asus nutzte?

The ASUS website has a bit of an unusual layout; you need to click the Expand All option at the top to see the complete list of utilities. The cleaner is available here: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/14....00.04.zip

It seems odd you expanded everything, possibly missing it on the Maximus IX Code page. It works fine now that you've uninstalled it. You can definitely run it cleaner afterward.

It would be wise to keep the cleaner handy just in case issues arise later.
