Hi everyone, I purchased GTA V via the Rockstar Warehouse, used Social Club Launcher, and now have both the game and the launcher. I need to reinstall it onto my new SSD instead of a traditional hard drive. However, after reaching out to support for about a week, they haven’t provided much help—they seem unreachable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Transfer the data from the hard drive to the solid-state drive.

Panel or through Steam? It’s strange to think about swapping files and adjusting paths in Steam for GTA 5.

I've handled this before. Move your GTA5 folder elsewhere—any other drive works. Uninstall everything tied to GTA5 first, then use the control panel "Programs & Features" to reinstall Rockstars on your new location. When the main game launches, it will download quickly. Pause or exit. Copy the necessary files back in, then restart the launcher. It should finish successfully or you can quickly grab a few files if needed.
