Hello. I understand the situation, but I'm using a translator. My device is a Dynabook X30L-J laptop.
I purchased it used two years ago. It functions perfectly, but I need to turn off "Secure Boot" in the BIOS (version 8.90) to update Windows. The BIOS isn't reachable, and I see a "supervisor" password that I don’t have. What should I do to reset it?
Is removing the BIOS backup battery sufficient, or are there other ways? I don’t have any specific instructions for laptops. Appreciate your help.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
How to access the BIOS on my laptop?
I own a Dynabook X30L-J laptop.

Which operating systems are you using?
After some time, I see a "supervisor" password, but I don’t have it. What should I do to reset the BIOS on this device?
Reach out to the person who sold me the laptop, your administrator, or the supervisor. We don’t assist with bypassing security measures as outlined in our forum guidelines (linked in my profile).

Hello everyone.
Thank you for your message.
I'm sorry, I had a difficult time expressing myself properly. I can view the BIOS settings but cannot apply any modifications. I managed to figure out that there is a "supervisor" password. Because of this, all the information on the first page is visible, while the rest are hidden and I can't make changes.
Could you help me understand how to proceed?
Thanks for your advice.

Hello.
I'm sorry for the oversight.
I didn't pay attention to the second part of your message. I sent a message a few days ago to the person who sold me the used laptop, but I notice they haven't read it yet. I'm not sure how I should proceed. Thank you.
