If your AMD Ryzen 5 9600X doesn’t display the complete 12 logical cores, review your motherboard’s BIOS configuration. The problem could stem from Gaming Mode, which by default turns off Simultaneous Multi-Threading (SMT).

Solution:
Press Del or F2 to enter BIOS.
Find Gaming Mode settings.
Turn off Gaming Mode.
Apply changes and restart the system.
Check Core Count:
Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), select Performance > CPU, and ensure all 12 logical cores are active.

Reason:
Gaming Mode restricts CPU operations to favor certain tasks, often disabling SMT. Disabling it allows the CPU to run at its maximum potential.
