Xzibit would show up at your house and claim you stole his trademark. If you plan to use the internet on a VM, consider getting a VPN or something similar.

You would likely need the VPN running on both devices to ensure consistent protection and access.

It would be more difficult for a potential virus to emerge. Perhaps?

I have a concept, and it might seem bold, but why spend on Netflix instead of investing in a reliable VPN? No risk of malware, no setup worries, and you’d be a better person overall.

You have Netflix, but not all the content is available there.

Nothing is happening. VM escapes are everywhere. It's usually safe enough as it stands, but there aren't many options to fix things. If you're using the VM for everyday tasks, just treat it like a regular computer. For other activities, let's discuss it. That's the truth. Still, the idea that some people can exploit this should raise concerns. USB drives can be compromised, just like sandboxes. That's why @AnonymousGuy advised against bridged networking, but it doesn't fully address the issue. The LAN problems will be tougher to resolve.

I understand, that's why I mentioned it doesn't fully address the issue.
