I discovered a book for me to read on iTunes (for Windows), and now I need to access it. Without a Mac or an iOS device, I'm completely stuck. I'll let you all try, but how can I open the book I get on iTunes on Windows? It's running Windows XP.

To date I'm not sure about this, you're probably right. The reason is nobody uses the bookstore. The app works only on Apple devices (phones, tablets, laptops, iPads). You can still try PDFs if you manage to locate the file.
