My RAM configuration is G.Skill Aegis (2x8GB) sticks. I looked into whether it could be overclocked and others have done that to around 2400 MHz. My PC specs include an I5 6500, RAM of G.Skill Aegis (2x8GB), a H110M-K GPU, and the website claims support for 2133/2400MHz RAM. The question is how to get the RAM up to the 2400 MHz range without affecting the CPU. Some say it can't be overclocked, but others have successfully changed the stock RAM to 2400 MHz without issues.

You need to access your BIOS and adjust the DRAM configurations. Details about your BIOS are available from page 2-1 in your user manual. Here is a resource on how to overclock RAM
