I wonder if some Sager laptops had unlocked custom BIOS for certain chips that weren't strictly overclockable. It might not be a common model, but it shows that sometimes restrictions are bypassed for specific reasons.

okay, i get it now. thanks for all the answers. i also checked some bottleneck calculator online and it says gtx 1050 ti with i5 7300hq should work perfectly together so idk (here's a photo of it
