I began searching for GTA V mods because online play felt less engaging, yet I still wanted to enjoy it. Is there a method to create separate copies for singleplayer and online versions? I’ve read some discussions but they were clear—I need the original version, not a Steam one. Should I purchase a new GTA V copy just for solo play? I’ve heard about the Social Club syncing all versions or switching between folders like GTA V - Clean and GTA V - Modded. I’m not very familiar with these options, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for reading.

You often paste the simplified content into GTA to save time.

Load the modded version in the first folder and the online version in the second folder. Begin the game from the appropriate directory.

They mentioned that Rockstar Social Club might sync folders to keep mods in place, but it could also just affect the modded folder alone. I’m not really sure what they meant.

You can save a single folder and label it "GTA V modded". To play and apply your modifications in SP, just replace your standard version with "GTA V Vanilla" and switch to the default modded version via Steam or another source. When you need to return to online play, do the same by renaming the modded folder back to "GTA V modded" and updating the vanilla folder accordingly.
