Refers to using a live disk where the system runs directly from the drive, though it's only temporary. Most Linux installers offer this feature naturally. Only a few support complete installations on USB drives. I didn't see Pop OS mention this capability. Based on my experience, ElementaryOS and Slax Linux allow portable use. For Pop OS, the guide at https://medium.com/@mattzab_49257/how-to...96e776dccc helps, but it requires you to already have Linux installed—something I didn't do for my portable OS setup. Creating a persistent live USB is more involved than what I've managed with Slax and ElementaryOS.
