I replaced the PowerEdge T420 with 24tbs (4tbx6drives). Due to age and issues, keeping them on the poweredge isn't feasible. I'm looking for options to integrate them into my current PC setup for side projects. The drives include: a Dell X4FKY Hitachi 0F27041 4TB SAS hard drive; a GPU (Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090); RAM (TeamGroup T-FORCE VULCAN Z 32GB DDR4-3200); an SSD (Samsung 990 PRO 1TB); an HDD (Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM008 2TB); a CPU (AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D); cooling solution (DeepCool AK620); power supply (ASUS TUF Gaming 1000W 80 Plus Gold ATX); and a motherboard (MSI B550 MPG ATX). My current case is a Fractal Design Meshify 2 Black ATX. I need guidance on finding a suitable HDD bay to accommodate these components near my PC.

I'm currently using an external USB Wavlink 2x docking bay for my additional 3TB Barricuda drives. I've noticed there are models with up to 8x bays. The only drawback is that it has an open interface, which allows dust and debris to settle inside and drift around the drives. To fix this, I used an old empty circular DVD pack or a "cake box" as a protective cover.

Thank you for the response. I understand you're looking for a reliable brand for SAS drives. Since your motherboard doesn't support SAS, it makes sense to consider an external docking bay.

I considered a similar approach, but the issue is my GPU consumes all the available space for such things.

if WAVLINK doesn't provide a comparable choice, I understand INDMEM has options available. However, they generally cost more compared to other alternatives.
