I'm just starting out with mods and checking out the KOTOR Mod Manager on Nexus Mods. I'm curious about the installation process—should I place it directly into the Override folder, or do I need to run the executable and install it normally like any other program? The information I found only mentions putting mods in the Override folder, so I'm a bit confused. Thanks!

The best Star Wars game ever. I attempted to install it some time back. The interface doesn’t adapt well on 4K screens. For mods, some files are handled via overrides while others use executables that alter the files.

Not sure, but if it's an EXE file, use it to set it up. Then you'd likely use the mod manager as any other installer does.

You can create subdirectories for each mod within the Override folder to keep them organized and separate.

It should allow you to place a folder named similarly to "blank mod" containing the mod files, while keeping access to the mod itself.

I prefer to rely solely on the NMM (nexus mod manager)

I believed the mod manager only controls whether mods are active or inactive, not that you needed to manually add them.
