I found an old video tablet that’s not working well, so I planned to fix it before using it for lessons. I thought rooting would help, but now I’m looking for tips from others instead of diving into the process myself.

It seems uncertain if I'll find out until the repair shop fixes the broken screen.

It might not be worthwhile fixing a screen on such an outdated tablet.

Sure, I understood that though my mom isn't convinced about what to do.

As long as Zoom is active, it works well but may not perform smoothly on Android 4 with 512MB of RAM.

Share her the costs of a fresh tablet such as the Lenovo M8, which should be around $90. Mention it might be outdated and not very practical anymore.

No, there are no listings matching a big screen at 50 dollars second hand with zoom features.

I’d suggest going for laptops instead of tablets or Chromebooks. If budget is tight, you can find decent options on eBay, but anything under a certain price point isn’t worth it.

We simply can't afford it, right? I already have another phone with solid specs, but the broken screen means it won’t take a repair. So I’ll start checking out reasonable offers for now.
