Hello, I'm not very experienced with overclocking. I tried to boost my i5 750 on the Gigabyte H55M-S2H, but it almost damaged my CPU. Could you give me some simple advice? I'm not sure about BIOS settings and overclocking risks. Is my air-cooling system sufficient for this kind of boost? I'm using the Cooler Master Hyper 212X cooler.

I'm not sure if it's the same overclocking for all motherboards, but I tried on my Gigabyte H55M-S2H following YouTube instructions step by step. When I ran the stabilization test, it crashed, so I had to restart the BIOS. I was wondering if I need to overclock my memory RAM to be able to do this well, since I'm not very experienced with overclocking. Thanks for understanding, and sorry for my mistake.

Thank you for the assistance, but unfortunately it didn't resolve the problem.
What's the main concern? Is it simply that your i5 gets hot even after minor changes?

I'm not sure if the same overclocking applies to all motherboards, as each one might handle it differently. I tried to boost my Gigabyte H55M-S2H following YouTube instructions, but after stabilization tests it crashed, forcing a BIOS restart. I'm really inexperienced with overclocking and wanted to know if I need to speed up my memory RAM to achieve better performance. Please let me know how to proceed on my H55M-S2H if possible. Thank you and sorry for my mistake.

Thanks a lot. Just checking the time when it starts overclocking... I'm aiming for 3.5 or 3.7 right now. Also, does my cooler master hyper 212x have enough cooling power? Thanks again.

Thank you. Just let me know when the overclocking starts, please. I'm aiming for 3.5 or 3.7 right now, and I want to make sure my cooler master hyper 212x can handle it. If it crashes in a game, I'll lower the speed again.
